THIS NOTICE IS GIVING YOU INFORMATION ABOUT OUR FORTHCOMING AGM AND PROVIDES YOU WITH DETAILS ABOUT HOW TO MAKE A NOMINATION AND VOTE BY PROXY.  PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DOCUMENT.

The AGM will be held on Thursday 16th^h May 2024 in the Assembly Room of The Council House, North Street, Chichester (1^st floor) starting at 2pm.

Agenda

An agenda for the meeting will be prepared and published in due course, together with reports from the Chair and Treasurer and Accounts.

Committee Elections

The principal officers holding the posts of Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer have expressed their willingness to stand again for next year.  Patricia Lock took over from Jacky Easton as Secretary in October 2023 and is willing to stand for that office.   Any member can, of course, compete for these posts or a place on the committee, using the nomination form.   If so, please complete the nomination form (either on-line or as a paper copy) and return to The Secretary, U3A Chichester, Box 809, Mailboxes Etc., 26 The Hornet, Chichester, PO19 7BB, by 17 April 2024.   You can find the form on our website, under ‘2024 AGM’, together with the draft minutes of the 2023 AGM and other associated papers. If you would like assistance in finding a proposer and/or seconder please speak to any committee member, who will be happy to assist.

Proxy Voting

Proxy voting forms can be found on the web page at https://www.chichesteru3a.org.uk/agm-2024/ and will also be sent to members with no email address. The password is Cu3a2024AGM. If you plan to vote by proxy you will need to return the completed form by 24 April 2024 either by post to: The Secretary, Chichester U3A, Box 809, Mailboxes etc, 26 The Hornet, Chichester PO19 7BB or by email to secretary@chichesteru3a.org.uk
