The Millennium Dome Diamond Robbery, Jools Lloyd
Jools was the Surveillance Team Leader working alongside The Flying Squad on their investigation into what became one of the most famous attempted robberies in criminal history. The attempt to steal the DeBeers Millennium Star and Blue Diamonds on display in a vault at the Millennium Dome in November 2000. Dog Walking Group – tails and trails
From sparkling shorelines to crunchy woodland trails, and from centurion valleys to
the sweeping views atop the South Downs, we’re out in all weathers, year-round,
embracing the changing seasons with our four-legged friends. Our fortnightly dog
walks are not just exercise — they’re a source of great companionship. And our
post-walk coffees at dog-friendly cafés are a therapeutic tonic to rival any
prescription, guaranteed to lift the mood.
This year’s spring blossom was a particularly welcome sight — not to mention the
glorious bluebells.

Impressionist Art Group Film
The Impressionist Art Group are showing the film Cezanne ; A life in Portraits on Tuesday 4th June at 2.00 o’clock at the Friends Meeting Hall, Priory Road, Chichester.
This 90 minute film explores the life and portrait work of Cezanne who was in the first three Impressionist exhibitions in Paris.
There is a £3 contribution requested to meet the cost of the hire of the hall and free tea and coffee.
Recorder Group
The Recorder Group currently has vacancies for players and would like to welcome YOU, if you’ve played in the past and would like to take up this versatile instrument again.
What do we play? More than Greensleeves! There’s lots of music from early to modern times, composed or arranged specially for recorder groups working at different levels and we cover a wide range for this level, which is improvers to moderate. We are looking for more members who would like to join Wine Tasting Group 3. We meet in members’ homes on the second Wednesday of the month starting at 7.30pm. The next meeting will be on June 10th. Please register your interest on the website.
New Book Group
We will number no more than twelve so we can focus on one conversation at a time. It does not matter when our books were first published – it is more important that one or more of the group have actually read it and feel it would make for a good discussion. We may well be opinionated; we might even disagree – but will do so agreeably. Our overriding intention is to share novels – occasionally a classic and/or… New Group: The No Small Talk Discussion Group
This group is for people who enjoy good, open conversations. For some, this kind of discussion can be nourishing and can raise energy. While a diet of endless small talk can drain energy. This may be a bit unusual or challenging but it will be an opportunity is to connect with yourself and engage with others doing the same. The conversations will take place in pairs, to make it more comfortable. Topics will be proposed and may include those below. If…
