Readings of members’ favourite plays – currently suspended
Now may be the time to revisit your favourite holiday venues abroad. Recapture Italy’s charm via Dario Fo’s comedy set in a provincial town hall, or join in a racy French farce, tracking down the comic elements found later in our British farces.
Fo and Labiche are just two of the foreign playwrights represented in our 11-month programme. We travel from Greece to Czechoslovakia, calling in at Spain, Italy, France. Russia, Norway, Germany on the way.
