Chichester U3A Annual General Meeting 2019 – Advance Notice
As you are aware, our AGM will be held on Thursday 16 May 2019. An agenda for the meeting will be prepared and publicised in due course.
Those present will be asked to consider a number of constitutional changes which can be viewed following the link in the list at the bottom of the page. If you have any questions relating to these changes, or to the draft minutes from the 2018 AGM, or to anything else regarding the running of our U3A, please send them to the Hon Secretary via the contact form below by 1 May 2019.
Several members of the current committee have indicated their intention to step down at the AGM. We are therefore looking for nominations. The primary vacancies are for:
A Membership Secretary
It may be possible for some of these roles to be undertaken on a ‘job-share’ basis.
We are also looking for further general committee members, especially those with some interest or expertise in technology and safety.
If you would like to join the committee in any of these roles please complete a nomination form and return it to the Secretary at our Mailboxes Address, or hand to any committee member by 1 May 2019. You can find the form in the list of links below. If you would like assistance in finding a proposer and/or seconder please speak to any committee member, who will be happy to assist.
