An exciting new group for people who are interested in the history and origins of cakes and their ingredients. From monks to the great pâtissiers of the world, cakes have been created using carefully sourced ingredients or more basic ones using whatever ingredients are to hand.
Come along to learn about the origins of and ingredients of ‘the cake of the month’ and with a cup of coffee taste it and talk about it.
The group plans to meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday 10:30 – 12:30
