Programme for 2021 Disclaimer Contact Group Leader
It’s Spring, lockdown is nearly over, so it’s time for us to start walking once again!
Brin has prepared a fortnightly programme (2nd and 4th Wednesdays) from April until the end of August. All the walks are flat and there will be 3 and 5 mile walks available. I will send out full details the weekend before the walk. I will NOT be arranging lunch; hopefully, that will start in September, although, we will stop for our usual coffee break. However, most walks will have refreshments near the finish which individuals can use if they wish. If these walks are successful then I will prepare a full, fortnightly programme for the new U3A year. Until then the walks are restricted to former members of the group.
Please note: Dogs on a short lead are welcome but need to be registered with the leader.

Walkers enjoy a break at Langstone – 20th September 2017

Disclaimer
Please note that neither Chichester U3A, nor the Walk Leader/Organiser of the walk(s) has control of the environment of the walks, the weather, any animals or indeed of any of the walkers themselves. Whilst taking normal precautions, providing reasonable help and assistance as necessary, they cannot accept responsibility for any circumstances affecting the Health or Safety of the Walkers in the party.
Walks organised by U3A Groups automatically receive Public Liability insurance cover, provided the leaders are U3A members, through the Third Age Trust. This is designed to protect leaders against claims for damage to property and for injury or death which might have been occasioned on the walk.
This is NOT a personal accident insurance and accordingly participants on walks are responsible for their own Health and Safety and the safe keeping of their equipment, clothing and belongings.
Participants on Walks should follow the advice/instructions of the Walk Leader in order to minimise any risk to themselves and should also ensure that they do not endanger any others in the party.
