Your Chichester U3A membership is due for renewal by September 1st 2019. We are pleased to confirm that the subscription remains unchanged at £10 per member (which includes a £3.50 Capitation Fee to the U3A Trust) or at a reduced rate of £6.50 for those who are also a member of another U3A and have their Capitation Fee paid by that U3A. We are calling this Associate Membership.
Having listened to feedback from our members, for the forthcoming year we are reverting to a previous style of membership card, credit card size, printed with our logo and produced directly from Beacon, the new database management system we have been using since earlier in the year. As in earlier years, there is a separate card detailing the programme of Monthly Talks and also a card with information about the SUN Study Days.
The membership cards will be available on receipt of your subscription payment, be it by cheque, standing order or bank transfer.
If you pay by cheque, you can collect your card from a Monthly Meeting or Coffee Morning, or receive it by post if you send a stamped, self-addressed envelope, preferably A5 size, together with your cheque.
If you already pay by standing order please make no additional payment by cheque or other means. Please note that, as agreed by your Committee last year, any overpayments will be treated as a donation. You will be able to collect your card from a Monthly Meeting or Coffee Morning, or you can send us a stamped, self-addressed envelope. If you pay by bank transfer you can collect your card from a Monthly Meeting or Coffee Morning, or by sending us a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
We would be grateful if all members could use one of the options detailed above to ensure that they are in possession of their membership card as early as possible in the membership year.
