Members who have not renewed will now be removed from the members database. Group Leaders should check that all their members have renewed for this year.

No. 77 - Autumn
A time of creativity and fulfilment for older people
U3A is an organisation of older people which enables members to share many educational, creative and leisure activities.
A U3A is a university in the original sense of the word: a collective of people devoted to learning and members are in the Third Age.
Anyone in the Third Age can join U3A providing they are no longer in full time occupation - all you need is interest and enthusiasm. It is called a university, but it has members, not students. No qualifications are required and none are given.
U3A members organise their own activities by drawing on the skills of one another. They share their knowledge and experience, and develop their own individual capabilities by learning from other members.
With the launch of this new style website, there will be a 3 month period of reflection where you, the members, are invited to comment on it and encouraged to offer solutions to criticisms you might have or offer improvements with practical advice.

In the months to come we will be adding more functions to the website: a members' forum, photo gallery, social events previews and reviews & general monthly calendar.
